African American Homeschoolers Network - A nationwide support group

Allegan Area Homeschoolers - An inclusive group which begins each meeting with optional prayer. Holds monthly meeting and regular newsletter. Contact: Ellen

Ann Arbor Unschooling Network - A non-religious group for unschoolers and homeschoolers which practices the John Holt method - a more relaxed, child-led approach.

CCHE (Christ-Centered Home Educators) - Branch County area - An active, growing group offering Friday afternoon classes, a lending library, field trips, monthly potlucks, a monthly newsletter, community service opportunities and an annual one day conference.  Contact:  Mary Beth or Ginny

CHEBWA (Christian Home Educators of the Blue Water Area) - St. Clair County - A Christian support group open to all which holds monthly meetings, enrichment classes, newsletter, etc. Contact:  CHEBWA

CHEE (Christian Home Educators Extention)- Purpose is to offer assistance to families who are seeking or are already involved in home schooling by providing resources, information, and encouragement. Fellowship Christian Homeschoolers, Inc. - Kentwood, SE Grand Rapids, Cutlerville, Caledonia, Wyoming - A support group that provides a meeting place for parents of home-educated children for inspiring and encouraging each other spiritually, praying for one another, sharing ideas, discussing areas of education and relaying information. God's Harvest Homeschool Support Group - Wyoming - Co-op style group with classes for all ages, including a nursery. Meetings are 2nd and 4th Mondays from 12:45 to 3pm with fellowship following at the Home School Building. Yearly fee: $30-$50. Parent participation is required. GRACE (Godliness Reflected through the Arts in a Christ-centered
Education) Homeschool Co-op and Support Group - Troy - Mission is to support and enhance the efforts of homeschooling families to grow spritually, intellectually, and socially by using the arts to demonstrate Christ's love to the community. Co-op meets at Kensington Community Church.  Support group meets in Troy.  Offers praise and worship, classes in different elements of creative arts for ages 6 to 18. Contact: Jennifer

Greenville Area Secular Home Schooling Support Group- A secular homeschooling support group open to all homeschooling parents in the nearby areas, including Belding, lower Montcalm County and Upper Kent County. The group is all inclusive-- offering support to anyone regardless of religion or educational method. Sole intent is to support homeschooling families during their home schooling journey. Class is free with parent attending. Some classes with fee. All parents must volunteer a certain amount of time in order to enroll their children. All members must sign a Statement of Faith (SOF). South Haven Homeschool Group - An inclusive group open to homeschoolers. Free membership. Meetings are open to those considering home education, as well. Also, conducts a homeschool cooperative with classes for elementary through high school age students. Tutoring available from a former homeschooler. Special Needs  Michigan Homeschooling email loop.  Open to all Michigan families with "special" children.  This group offers support to parents whose child(ren) have developmental delays (speech and language, motor, cognitive, sensory, emotional, and social, etc. )

St. Joseph County Homeschool Group - An inclusive group based in Sturgis, but open to all homeschoolers in the general area. We offer a monthly newsletter, social activities, field trips, and a parent taught classes each month. Still a small group that welcomes all who are kind and respctful of the wonderful diversity shared.  Contact: Lisa

This Generation - Richmond - Meets monthly at the Richmond Police Department. A highly active, motivated and motivating group that loves field trips and good solid interaction with their children. A Christian-based group, but everyone welcome. Hold's meetings once a month to simply discuss "homeschooling" issues. Annual dues: $20.00 Contact: Leann or Laura

Wayne County Home Educators - Wayne ans surrounding counties - An all-member run group with weekly park meetings, field trips, and indoor activies. Contact: Cheryl

Wayne County Homeschool Group - A very active Secular/Inclusive group providing support, social activities, and field trips throughout the year.   Offering support to anyone regardless of religion, race, or educational method. Group stresses diversity and open-mindedness. Religious beliefs ARE NOT to be a part of the daily discussion. However, this is a place where we can come together, share intellectual discussion, and make this journey a rewarding experience without being judged for our religious affiliations. **Group meets weekly in Garden City.** Also has a restricted Yahoo email group for members! WISDOM - Coopersville Area Christian Home Educators - A small group of local home educators who meet once a month for either a mom's night out or a family social.
